Company History

Where do you want to live? Billy and Brett Hartman, Timbergrove and Candlelight Estates neighborhood natives, have answered that question in a big way. Coming home to announce the opening of their new office at 2000 Ella Boulevard at East T C Jester, in the same building where they first worked as Realtors more than 20 years ago. After successful careers with a family-owned Century 21 franchise, and then one of Houston’s most outstanding privately-owned real estate companies, the Hartman’s have come full circle!

With a combined 50 plus years of real estate experience, Billy and his agents give area residents a new option for buying or selling a home. Billy says, My 10 years experience in real estate management and Brett’s multiple years as a top producer gives us the perfect combination of systems and salesmanship. The neighborhoods they service are very special to them and hold very fond memories. Brett’s great uncle built houses on Byrne and Florence in the Heights and Billy was President of the Heights Rotary Club. Billy’s grandmother, Farrell Brock, worked at Kaplans Ben-Hur for over 35 years. They both grew up at Baptist Temple Church in the Heights and now attend First Baptist Church. Their kids grew up at Oaks Dads Club and Timbergrove Little League and they have supported the Northwest YMCA, on 34th, ever since Billy served as Chairman.

The phrase that best describes their marketing approach is Neighbor to Neighbor. This whole Near Northwest / Heights area is such a great area, very few people want to leave. The buyer for a particular house could be just a street over or a few miles away searching for their dream home. Or maybe it’s a family who moved away from the area and now wants to return to old neighborhood, Brett Hartman says. Local advertising, community involvement and neighborhood support will be important keys to their marketing plan.
